VIVIDIZER v1.2 introduces headtracking filters that will lock sound sources to a fixed perceived location when you move or turn your head. This article will walk you through how to install this update and the softwares required to enable headtracking.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

  1. If needed, download and run the latest VIVIDIZER Installer from Vivaldi 3D

  2. Download and install the VIVIDIZER v1.2.8 (prerelease) from here. This only updates the application, so you will need to already have a previous version installed on your system (see step 1)

  3. Download and install Visual C++ Redistributable x64 in case you don't already have it

  4. Download the appropriate Opentrack -setup.exe for your Windows architecture (x32/x64) from Opentrack's releases page under “Assets”. Run the setup executable to install Opentrack

  5. Download the most recent version of AITrack from the AITrack's releases page (.zip file) and extract its content

  6. Run Opentrack and make sure to select Input = UDP over network, Output = Open Sound Control. Then, click "Start"

  7. Run AITrack.exe from AITrack and click "Start tracking"

  8. Open the VIVIDIZER and either start a trial or enter a license key purchased from vivaldi3d.com

  9. Switch the filter to any filter to for headphones and toggle to “Webcam (AITrack + Opentrack)”

  10. Turn your head from side to side - the slider at the bottom of the VIVIDIZER should be moving with you
